Elizabeth Holmes Outstanding Athletic Award

Income from endowment for purchase of appropriate awards given annually to the outstanding male and female athlete who possess good academic averages, and who exemplify the character, sportsmanship, and distinguished qualities URI desires in its athletes. Recipients selected from recommendations of each coach, for each sport by the Director of Athletics. Final selection made by the Holmes family. If income remains after the purchase of award it should be used for a senior banquet, or if no senior banquet is done, it should be used at the discretion of the Athletic Director.
