Karen L. Adams Endowed Scholarship in Communications
The Fund will be used to support a junior or senior student from Rhode Island, who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and who is a student at the Harrington School of Communication and Media. Preference for applicants who have demonstrated, through a personal essay or interview, that they were able to overcome discrimination or harassment based on their gender identity or sexual orientation and have developed resilience, ambition, motivation, or other traits indicative of likely academic or career success. The recipient shall be selected by the Director of the Harrington School of Communication and Media, in conjunction with the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
