The Spiros M. and Niovi Constantinides Scholarship for Study in Greece
The purpose of this endowment is to provide scholarship support for URI students interested in having an immersive study abroad experience in Greece. The scholarship may be used by a student of any college who is enrolled in a credit-bearing study abroad program, internship or research project physically based in Greece. Qualifying students must meet eligibility requirements set by the Office of International Education in consultation with their college dean’s office. The scholarship will be awarded by the Vice Provost for Global Initiatives in the Office of the Provost.
If no such student can be found in any given year, that year’s distribution shall be carried over for spendable use in subsequent years, and not reinvested into the corpus of the endowment.
