Dholakia Research in Business Award

The Fund will support several awards each year listed below in priority order. The amounts will be determined by the Dean of the College of Business based on the spendable amount. 1. An award will be used to recognize a Ph.D. student with preference given to those in Marketing. The recipient will be selected by the Dean of the College of Business in consultation with the Director of Doctoral Program & Research and the Associate Dean. This award will not exceed $500. 2. An award will be given to a graduate student in Business working on significant research in an area other than Accounting. The recipient will be selected by the Dean of the College of Business in consultation with the marketing faculty. This award will not exceed $250. 3. An award will be given to an undergraduate student in Marketing who is focusing on global or social marketing. The recipient will be selected by the Dean of the College of Business in consultation with the marketing faculty. This award will not exceed $250. 4. If there are additional funds available, awards will be used to recognize additional Ph.D. student(s) with preference given to those in Marketing. The recipient(s) will be selected by the Dean of the College of Business in consultation with the Director of Doctoral Program & Research and the Associate Dean.
