RI Coalition of Library Advocates Scholarship Endowment

Income from endowment used to provide scholarships to two students in the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies: one who is preparing to go into public librarianship and the other who is preparing to go into school librarianship. Recipients shall be selected by the GSLIS Director in consultation with faculty and shall be the same students as those selected for the annual COLA scholarships. Determination of the awards shall be based on academic excellence and other criteria, including: demonstrated social responsibility, professional leadership, and contribution to the community. Preference for a student living or working in RI.
