David A. Witham Rhode Island Brewing Pioneer Memorial Scholarship

The Fund shall support one student based on merit within the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Education, or majoring in Food Science, or Biochemistry. Preference, within the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Education, to be given to those students majoring in Music, English or Education.

Additional preference for students with an active membership in a university-recognized, music-focused student group (i.e., the Electronic Music Association, Musician’s Guild or WRIU), a demonstrated interest in homebrewing, fermentation science, or pursuit of a career in the craft beer industry. The student recipient will be selected by the Office of Enrollment Services.
