Carl Myllymaki and Richard Smith Memorial Scholarship

Income from endowment will support equal scholarships to Westerly High School seniors who participate in sports, student government, or scouting, and who will be attending URI. The scholarship recipients will be recommended by Enrollment Services and Westerly High School and be awarded by the College of Arts & Science. Funds should also be set aside for the purchase of two dress blue uniforms and books about Vietnam for two deserving URI seniors in the Department of Military Science. Selection of these award recipients will be made by the Chair of the URI Military Science Department.
