Michael S. Kroian Memorial Music Scholarship

Income from endowment shall provide scholarship for students who are declared Music majors, with documented financial need. Students who receive the scholarship may continue to receive the award if they continue to meet the criteria and remain in good academic standing. The award shall be given to Music majors, from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School, with preference given to majors in the following order of importance: 1. Music Education: voice 2. Music Performance: voice 3. Music Education: instrumental 4. Music Performance: instrumental. If a student from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School who meets the criteria cannot be found, then a student who is a resident of Warwick, RI, who attended any high school and meets the criteria, with the same preferences, may be selected. If a student from Warwick who meets the criteria cannot be found, then a resident of Rhode Island who attended any high school, who meets the criteria, with the same preferences, may be selected. Determination of the recipient shall be made by the Music Department in consultation with Enrollment Services.
