John Shepard II Memorial Scholarship

Income from endowment for scholarships awarded annually to students in the Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Education based on merit and need. Preference to students interested in Retailing or other related fields. Recipients selected by the Dean of ASFCE and scholarship committee created for this purpose. If the committee so decides, the awards may be for the purchase of books in the ASFCE Bookstore. Mr. Shepard was the owner of Shepard’s Department Store in Providence. This building now houses ASFCE.
