The Dr. Carl D. Swanson Scholarship

Income from the endowment shall provide a scholarship for students with documented financial need who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender and who are undergraduate music or music education majors. Those studying voice (singing) will be given preference. Students who receive the scholarship may continue to receive the award if they continue to meet the criteria and remain in good academic standing.
