Art Stein Scholarship in Nonviolence & Peace Studies

Income from endowment to provide a scholarship(s) to a student(s) based on merit, who has demonstrated a strong interest in peace and nonviolence studies. Preference given to students who have declared a minor (or a major if one is established) in Nonviolence and Peace Studies. If no students meet this preference, then the scholarship may be awarded to Political Science majors who have demonstrated a strong interest in peace and nonviolence issues. The selection of the student(s) shall be made by the academic director of the Nonviolence and Peace Studies minor, or his/her designee, and, if needed, in consultation with the Chair of Political Science.
