Jesse and Norman Furtado Scholarship

The Fund shall support a need-based scholarship for an undergraduate student within the College of the Environment and Life Sciences. Preference will be given to a student in the sophomore year or higher who is majoring in Plant Sciences and Entomology and is also a first-generation college student from the state of Rhode Island. The student recipient will be selected by the Dean of the College of the Environment and Life Sciences.
