Dr. Robert L. Carothers Student Leadership Endowment
The fund shall provide annual scholarships to URI students of color who provide leadership in broad university programs, such as, but not limited to, Student Senators, orientation leaders, URI 101 mentors, residence assistants, residence academic mentors (RAM), tutors, and similar student affairs programs that will be established in the future. These scholarships are not intended for individuals who have leadership roles only in clubs, fraternities, or sororities.
Recipients shall be selected by the Dean of the University College, in conjunction with the Associate Vice President of Community, Equity and Diversity, and Enrollment Services.
