Weekapaug Foundation for Conservation Scholarship in Environmental Studies

The purpose of the endowment will be to recognize and encourage local student interest in conservation. The fund will support a scholarship for a deserving undergraduate or graduate student with a demonstrated conservation ethic and academic achievement enrolled in an Environmental Science, Planning, and Policy Major or Life Science Major in the College of Environmental and Life Sciences. Preference will be given to a student from Westerly, Rhode Island. If no student qualifies for this scholarship, consideration will be extended to Charlestown, Rhode Island, and then opened to students from throughout Washington County, Rhode Island. The College of Environment and Life Sciences shall select the recipient.
