Epi-Vax Polly Matzinger Biotechnology Scholarship

EpiVax is a biotechnology company located in Providence, Rhode Island, that is committed to not only advancing medical research, but also to giving disadvantaged women the opportunity to excel in science-related and biotechnology careers.

The fund shall be used to award a scholarship to a female who is currently enrolled in the Biotechnology Program in the College of the Environment and Life Sciences. The scholarship shall be awarded to a full- or part-time student who demonstrates financial need, is in academic good standing, and who has not previously completed her B.S. Degree. If, however, no such student qualifies or if such an award would not otherwise comply with applicable law, then the scholarship shall go to a student with demonstrated financial need and in good standing from a historically underrepresented population at the University. Recipient to be selected by the Coordinator of the Biotechnology Program.
