Simpson Family Scholarship in Pharmacy

The Fund shall support a recruiting & retention scholarship program in the College of Pharmacy for the purpose of educating a cohort of future pharmaceutical leaders who lack financial means to attend URI. Qualified students shall have a demonstrated financial need and come from under-resourced communities in New England states with a preference for Rhode Island residents. The student recipients will be recruited and selected by a process overseen by the College of Pharmacy’s Office of the Dean in conjunction with the University of Rhode Island’s Office of Enrollment Management & Student Success.
