Michael Sadd Memorial Graduate Fellowship in Mechanical Engineering

The fund shall be used to provide annual scholarship assistance to a qualified graduate student pursing an advanced degree and research assistantship in mechanical engineering, or to support students with summer stipends until they receive research grant funding during the regular academic year. Graduate students will be encouraged each spring to submit to the Dean of the College an application for the award. Awards will be disbursed at the discretion of the Dean and Department Chair and will be based upon academic merit, financial need, and upon faculty who are actively pursuing external funding.
